As a teen, I read Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, and needless to say, I was in awe. I loved Jo’s fierce intellect, Beth’s kind nature, and Amy’s vanity and immaturity. I learn’t some important lessons from reading this book as a teen.
The following quotes speak for themselves:
“I like good strong words that mean something.” ~ Jo March, Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.
“Have regular hours for work and play; make each day both useful and pleasant, and prove that you understand the worth of time by employing it well. Then youth will be delightful, old age will bring few regrets, and life become a beautiful success, in spite of poverty.” ~ Marmie, Little Women by Louise May Alcott.
