Milestone and Me!

Wow! I have just reached the 100 followers milestone. I’m feeling the love and support right now, and it makes all the time spent writing and blogging worthwhile. I have loved every minute of my blogging experience, and the community vibe from other bloggers is fantastic. I hope to support others as much as they have supported me on my journey. Thank you folks!

I haven’t done an introductory post of sorts for a while, so for all my new followers, and some of my older followers, this is me, Kayleigh, (K.J.Chapman):

I’m a twenty-nine year old, mother, fiancé, writer, author, book lover, blogger, tea drinker, housekeeper, daydreamer, recycler, thrift shopper, the list can be infinite. I am a born and bred Cornish girl and have been told I have an accent to match. Yep, I do say ‘bleddy ansum’, ‘dreckly’, and ‘alright arr ee.’ Cornwall is my favourite place in the whole world. We’re friendly folk overall, and I enjoy the pace of life.

My passion is writing. I have a particular interest in writing young and new adult, science fiction and fantasy novels. I self-published my first eBook, EVO Nation, in June 2015 ( please check it out via the link below), and I am currently writing book two in the EVO Nation series, EVO Shift.

My second passion is reading. I have an eclectic reading taste; picking one genre would be like asking a mother to pick her favourite child. I have recently started book review posts as part of my blog. It seemed like a natural progression considering the amount of time I spend reading. I am particularly eager to help spread the word on obscure eBooks, helping to bring them into the mainstream.

Finally, I’m a fan girl! Dr Who, Game of Thrones, Firefly, The Walking dead, and anything Marvel. I’m a self-proclaimed geek and proud of it.

  1. Congratulations! That’s a brilliant milestone.
    Enjoying the latest series of Dr. Who? My highlight so far was in the first episode in the undersea base where Clara had to show the Doctor “the cards” so he could express his condolences to the crew 🙂

  2. Congratulations on 100 followers! That is quite a milestone indeed! I’m glad to be one of them 🙂 I have to say that I am self-proclaimed lover of Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Firefly & Marvel as well. And I have self-diagnosed myself with a multigenre personality. My life is definitely better for it! I haven’t read EVO Nation yet, but I most certainly will. And I will definitely review it once I’m done! Until then, keep reading & writing! Here’s to the next 100!
